Grace Kuck
Clinical Intern
Grace is in her final year of her Master of Social Work (MSW) program, specializing in Individuals, Groups, and Families. Before pursuing her master’s degree, she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in human development and family services. She chose the social work field in hopes of making a positive impact on her community.
In Grace’s first year of her MSW program, she was an intern at a federal government agency. Her work consisted of humanizing incarcerated adults awaiting sentencing for federal charges.
She has two years of experience working at a therapeutic boarding school, taking on multiple roles while completing her graduate degree. Grace excels at creating strong connections with adolescents while maintaining a therapeutic milieu; she feels passionately about working with children, teens, and young adults exhibiting pain-based behaviors.
Grace is goal-oriented and strongly believes in a strengths-based approach. She utilizes her empathy, humor, and welcoming presence to make therapeutic work fun. While interning at Shoreline Therapy Center, Grace wants to build strong, professional relationships with her clients and gain insight on working with families.
Grace enjoys swimming in the summer, golfing in the fall, skiing in the winter, and spending time with her family all year round. She especially loves her yellow labrador retriever, Bailey.
